It's not really the distance nor the the car that I'm worried about....It's if something WERE to go wrong with the car and having to explain to my wife abut classic cars while we sit on the side of the highway . It would just make more sense to me to trailer the car, and drive it around once I got there.
What could possibly go wrong, it's a Honda! Carry spares and some tools and you're good. Or just get in the car and drive like me! Lol and I completely agree with Bill, I love driving my wagon so much I find that I don't get as tired compared to driving my CRX from Cali to BC.
It would be pretty awesome to have a whole fleet of 1stgens heading down to JCCS in a big convoy 8) And have like a wagon just filled with spare parts just in case......
The first NorCal JCCS James and I were going over the pass and one of the toyotas that were running with us locked up the motor. Like James said, that doesn't happen with Hondas...!!
There is a member within an hour all the way down I-5 in CA, Help is just a call away!
It's funny you mention the Kelowna show. I have a friend moving out that way and thought it would be a good opportunity to do two things at the same time :D . If it is a go I would most likely be into doing that. If you find out any details let me know!
It seems a really long time since I've posted updates of the progress. so here it is. The civic finally got a taste of the outdoors again today :D I'm still waiting to put the motor back in due to an issue of locating certain motor parts.

I just noticed that HONDAMATIC emblem is still just in place and a little crooked.
