still need to check crankshaft and engine codes to see what bearing color i need

where did you get the rear window louvers??? Nice build! i would like to get some louvers for my build?

I bought it from the same guy.(his last one)
He has SQUAT! load new honda access stuff lying around.
Also lots off other hard to find stuff.

If you sent me Pm,i'l give you his Email.I don't want to post it out here in public

Long time no posting,sorry,due to other builds

So did not work on the civic much.

Onely on the starter motor,as the starter relay was bad.
Syphtome :turning key ,nothing,onely click in the engine room.trying up to 4 times ,and suddenly vroemm .Without no hasitation .
From my lokal car part store i bought a solenoid .
Brand HC Cargo item no 131800

I polished and sprayed the starter motor,ready to be mounted later on .
Hope you guys can use the info .


Then ,
Is someone in need of a bandai plastic model kit 8124
scale 1/20.
I do not have the time to build it.
So anybody?

Lets get my project back from the dead on this forum.
Toch het EB1 blokje maar uit elkaar gehaald.
A couple of years back Steph gave me the info on a great engine build.
Steph even gave me the eaby link on where to buy the pistons.
Great thanks !!!
2 kids were born and as many fathers notice ,that having spare time is non excistant.
Now they are getting a bit older ,an giving me so now and than some spare time.

So engine wise,

What am i going to make.

Using kawasaki big bore kit 73MM pistons :bravo
1300 crank
1200 driveshafts
EN4 oil pump
home lightened 4,4kg flywheel
5-speed
reground camshaft
home made udj camgear
enz enz
enz

So got my parts out,pressed out the piston pins ,wet blast them .rinse and flouded with oil.
PA5 is EN4 shaft

S85 (S88 same block,been replaced??) is EB1 shaft

uboxed the kawasaki pistons

Made a weighing list of every piston part ,and put all the parts as equal as possible together.So leight piston with heavy wristpin.

And finaly taking some material of the piston to make 4 same weight sets

Here you can see the dome on the piston in comparisson to oem eb3 piston

Next is ,rinsing the engine block,give it a wetblast ,en sent it to a machine shop to have it bored out to 73mm

This is my reground camshaft,ones in a time i bought a couple of badly stored cams,this is the onely one i can salvige .

1Its got 1 rusted gear ,that can be replaced,as it shrunk onto the camshaft.
2the surface of the seal is rusted ,i will replace the seal by a item that has smaller internal diameter,and then cut the camshaft on my lathe to the new diameter .
3re repair a bearing .as you can see.it has been done before.So machine a new surface and shrink it back on the camshaft.
I should have a usable after that
