And this project.
Using ford escort mk2 KONI shocks

Take of the spring seat ,as it is off center.

clean and wet blast

But ,no.I am not going to do it like that :cute

I want adjustable ride height
So buy a new ell cheapo coil over set for 15Euro
Throw away the spring that came with the set ,as they are always rock hard.

I was lucky to find a spring set in our factory stock ,i think it belongs to a big valve actuator .
The coil is slightly thicker than stock,so i hope it will work out
By using a flange ,i will make a seat for the coil adjuster, and weld that on the shock
Looks quit nice i think .

Combine this with my home made extended tophats is should give me a tip top suspension.

And want to share some handy info.

I was looking for main bearings on shebay
It was a bit hard to find a set,so i searched for triumph acclaim bearings,as they use the same honda engine
Found and ordered .
Got my KING Bearing set realy fast .
This is what i saw on the box.

And they fit!!
So if you are looking for main bearings search for f22b en h22a engine bearings

Hello Mielko, I currently have an engine project using Goldwing pistons. Which Kawasaki ones did you go for? the KZ1000? I have just collected my block which has been bored out to 73mm. I am also using the King bearings, luckily my crank is an all Green bearings crankshaft so all standard sized main journals

I think it wa kz1000.
I bought the piston years ago. Straight after Steph gave me the link.
Pistons were bargain price. Complete set for scratch price

What is A all green crank?

Each rod and main crank bearing journal can be 7 different sizes. The bearings for these journals are colour coded The green bearings are in the middle of the size range with 3 smaller below green and 3 larger above green. From small to large they run RED, PINK, YELLOW, GREEN, BROWN, BLACK, BLUE. The crank i am working on has all 5 main bearings that are GREEN

Did you have to machine the Kawasaki pistons to for the conrods? Did you use the Kawasaki piston pins of the Honda ones?
