As you say, to mix all runners to provider vacuüm to brake booster.

I wanted a "factory" look. So no loos parts.

welded the pieces together,stainless is horror material,it warps to all sides,but not the one you want....
So i have to re do the left side..

Finaly found a new emblem to fit my new engine.As it will be almost 1400CC
I saw it on no-links for a long time,but found it to expensive .
Eventualy contacted the seller if he was prepared to lower his prise ,so that we would end up at 30Euro,s incl shipping from usa to netherlands .And he did
And so i was happy :bravo

Fits nicely under my 5-speed .

I have one of those 5-speed emblems. Well done finding one, they are SUPER rare.

i forgot to say, you want your coolant outlet at the opposite end to the distributor as that's the direction the coolant travels through the head. Anyone thinking of challenging me might remember that I have a full size cooling system factory poster showing a cutaway of the engine and the direction of flow with arrows. I'd personally block off the first coolant outlet because IMO it was only there to help warm up the manifold, otherwise you're better off having the full flow come out the single outlet and return to the radiator. If you're doing a heater pipe as well, that should also be tapped off the same outlet.

Crossed my mind to. As waterflow travel from left to right. Maybe make a ristriction orifice on the left one.
Onely if I use 1.the diameter could be to small?
Its now 17,5mm internal diameter

Close it off completely. You'll actually be improving the design IMO by decreasing any chance of overheating problems with those last two cylinders. I'd be inclined to clean up the casting around the right hand coolant outlet to benefit flow and maybe even open it up a millimetre and trim the gasket a fraction to suit. Nothing radical but I'd say there's room for improvement in flow to be made with a die grinder as long as you're careful not to remove too much material.

I dont think that Will help, thermostat Will be biggest restriction. Coolant hose diameter is smaller than cilinder head outlet hole on our engines

Bought something "new"to rebuild /remake
I was keeping an eye on the sales websites,and found a renault clio adjustable set for 25E .They will be remade to fitt the rear end of the car

Off course a small fault,as in solid rusted hight adjusting nuts.
No problem,some heat ,and they came loose .Cleaned the thread with a thread file .And good as new.

Now rebuild or re-use the "foot" a worn stock strutt

But that later,first build up my crx,as all suspension parts have been cleaned and repaint.Ready for new summer drives

Finished the front struts,got all the parts done one my lathe .
When the car is on my little bridge the strutt will be welded to the right hight.
