Project 1979 Honda Civic CVCC almost complete
UPDATED PICTURES AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE
Well after about 3 years since starting this project, it is almost complete with a lot of small stuff left to do. The 1978 Accord motor just got swapped in and started this past month with a dyno tune on the weber carburetors. It dynoed at 90whp and 83 torque. It is sitting on Koni shocks with ground control coilovers, brembo brakes, 15x7 minilites. It has 4 wheel disc conversion with the 4x100 bolt pattern. Fender flares were added and the corner lights were shaved off the fenders. The pictures will show all of the other work done to it.
Before Paint Still need to put the interior back in, windshield, back glass, alignment, seats, and some other misc. things.

I bought the engine off on line auctions about 2-3 years ago. The guy already had it rebuilt along with the carburetor. He just didnt put it in a car yet. This engine is what started the idea of a restoration. Checked over the engine to see if everyone looked alright. Put the engine in about a month ago and it fired up first crank. Got it professionally tuned and it put down 90 whp and 85 torque.
The steering wheel hub is from Momo along with the wheel.

Looks great, nice work. The fender flares are sweet!
