Looks super clean! I think you will have to make a road trip to Cali in 2010 for the Jap classic... we plan on heading down for it again... but we need a few years for all of the mods that we want to do!
old skool rules... new skool technology :)

Flares

Post by John S. »

Hiyya,
Just wondering what was your source for the fiberglas flares. Were they generic, or made to fit something in particular?

from his previous post
I dont remember, but they are from some website and they are universal flares. Had a body shop cut and reshape them to fit onto the car.

Hey guys,
I was visiting my parents this weekend and Keith lives like 15 mins from them and so I had to see if he could show the car.....

And the car is BAD A$$! :D It looks even better in person when you see the fat flares, widetrack, yellow pearl paint, and to hear that motor growl through the magnaflow is a symphony! Point the car and it steers instantly. Hit the gas and it throws you into the seat. Hit the brakes and it throws you into the dash! I never liked being abused so much :D

Thanks for taking time out of your day to let me drool over the car for an hour or so, being so very friendly and the best part?......Asking me if I wanted to take a ride??? Oh yeah! On and off ramps at full song were such a blast! I had been grinning from ear to ear so long that my jaw hurt when I left  It was such an inspiration to finish my car and I hope many more 1st genners get to see this car in person.

Thanks again Keith

Kelly it was my pleasure. I am glad you came by it is nice to show the car to someone who appreciates the hard work that it takes to bring these cars back and to put a face with the forum also a good excuse to drive it. I will be at vmp in petersburg Feb 10 I hope to see you there and thanks for your kind words.

It's hard to tell in your pics how you apprached the rear window OEM window treatments. Did u clean them up and color match, or did you delete the chrome/plastic window treatments altogether? Thanx

I also notice that the trim ring around your REAR (back/hatch) window is black vs chrome --- did u just paint it or is it a custom molding??
