This car looks deceptively good from the outside. It has nice paint on the outside. BUT as you peel back the layers there's a lot of work to be done. It should be going to the body shop sometime this winter to take care of the rot and paint the whole interior. I plan to refinish the dash, install an AM/FM Stereo, deluxe guages and repaint the seat brackets. I'd love to have the car finished in time for the Carlisle Import Show, May 15-17 2009.

The weather warmed up nicely today and I decided it was time to remove the headliner to clean it and inspect my roof line for rust. I wasn't disappointed.

The car was towed over to the body shop on April 1st. Here's some pics of the progress on the front passenger side of the car. If I had to wager a bet, I don't think this project will be completed in time for the 2009 Carlisle Import Show.

Brandon, I haven't seen them. The color looks pretty good. Are they 1stgen mats? I still need carpet. BTW, I have the black front floor mats with the H in mint condition. Thanks, Bob.
