Not very much going on at this moment. This Friday we're going have another sneak at the paint shop and it probably will have some hippie green on it..hopefully! Any who, I'm addicted in buying new OEM bolts and nuts for everything that will be in sight, so the engine is blinging more and more (should have done what Kurt did a long time ago (zinc job on the bolts, etc.), but somehow I'm too lazy and cmsnl.com is too easy..and in the end too expensive, but whatever).
Also my girlfriend did a little vinyl re-spray on the interior panels.

We used Motip vinyl spray black for the panels and about the colour hippiegreen..it's a bloody "doubt-maker"..we went and see it last Friday and it's a bit lighter as the sample colour is, but nevertheless, it has to work out just fine....very...VERY frustrating :? ..I guess (hope) it's the same as this

Here are some pics of the small modifications I'm working on to fit these new seats. I'm also going to fit the original so called reclining adjusters so the seats will look more in line with the car..maybe I'll attach the rear ashtray as well

I've tried to polish the wheels as well and wanted to go for the black sides, but I gave it up after 5 minutes...way too many spokes to polish! Just went for poudercoating and we'll see how they look under the car...tomorrow back from paint!! :P

It's back from paint!!! :P :P The colour is spot on and the painter has done a great job! Unfortunately my camera has problems catching the right type of hippiegreen, but believe me, it is! Tomorrow we'll be doing the first bits and pieces, so tbc..

Sticking the original striping was very difficult according to the painter, cause it stuck hardly (it's over 30 years old..)

The colour on these pics is a bit off from reality, but you get the point, work in progress.

Btw, does anyone know these hood protectors (63113-634-810), check number 2? I don't know if I'll keep 'em but it's kind of interesting.

Yeah DuPont its great paint too. Aree you going to spray the inner fender with "tar"(dont know how its called there, the black stuff that comes from factory).I had never seen such thing( the hood corner protector). Is that rs lettering a replica? Where did you get it?[/quote]

Yep, the inner fender will me sprayed with anti gravel. The RS emblem is from a Honda Fit/Jazz, check. You can buy these on line auctions..bit in doubt if I put one on the back too (already got a second one), I think so..it looks cool 8)
