My project car is almost done but me and my friend who fix the car for me don't know why it won't start. I put in a new rebuilt 1500 cvcc engine and a 5 speed trans. We are not sure would it be timing problem or electric problem. We measure 12V output from the coil and after the regulator only 7V output. Is it normal? Also my carb is no good. I really don't know what cause the problem. Anyone have any suggestions and how to set up the timing correctly? Please let me know.
