part of my whole front end disassembly was to replace the brake disks, as well as track down a creak in the front. In taking apart thins, it turns out that one of the front ball joints is groaning. I want to know, is it possible to just replace the ball joint, rather than the whole control arm assembly (done that before).
With rallying I know I'll blow up ball joints on a regular basis, I want to know if I can just replace the joint, rather than the whole arm.
thanks
Paul

hmmm... I'm going to take my spare control arm down to a machine shop and see if we can figure out some way to make a mount to hold a larger, more robust, easier to change, style of ball joint.
If we can figure it out, I'll post pictures and tips.
