I'll post a pic of the last show we were at and give your opinion on what year hood do you like!!
The convertible with the 76' and earlier hood
The blue one with the 78'-79' 1200cc hood
The 79' wagon with the 77' and earlier 1500cc hood

I like the old 1200 hood best.No plastic inserts to get faded, cracked or broken. It's hard to tell from your pic but it appears the 78-79 1200 hood is missing the plastic insert.I see you don't have bumper guards on any of your cars. You don't like them? You are the 1st gen.Civic customizing king!

The 78' has the insert(i'll take a better pic)it also has the front turnsignals mounted in it aswell. I never really liked the bumper guards, I'm still trying to find caps(chrome hopefully)to cover the bolt holes(they need to be 1 1/4" id.)to fit the holes.....any idea's???

as long as it has the big scowl/bump on the hood.
the wagon hood seems to be so flat, but the 1200 hoods look sweet. The side slits on the 78/79 also are in a nicer position than the older 76 style. My vote is for the 78/79 hood.

Hondahead,
I have attempted to send you three Emails, but have not heard back from you, are they not getting through, have you changed your Email address? I am ready to move on the EG head and manifolds.

2low2go,
Bicycle cranks usually use a chromed plastic cap to cover the bolt hole. Maybe there is a type with the right ID for your bumpers.
