a few weeks ago i had the chance to work on a 2000 civic... i noticed it had the macpherson strut. i also noticed that the shock/strut mount was about the same size as the one on my first gen civic. i believe this will be an easier way to do he 4X100 conversion as well as having almost brand new brakes/calipers.
just a curiosity-

i also had put a '91 civic si brake booster and master cylinder on my car...
it bolted right up just take the push rod off of the brake bar. and attach the clevis from the newer booster on it the bolt patterns have exactly the same dimensions.
