Our first generation Civics' have a very basic interior which lacks in storage space. One easy solution to help spice up the interior is a new center console. With enough work any console can be made to fit but here’s a few simpler swaps:

79-81 Accord

These are supposedly a straight swap, bolt hole line up and everything.

These will cover the shifter and join to the lower dash. They include 2 openings (one for climate controls, one for stereo), cigarette lighter, ashtray and ‘cubby.’ They do need to be modified to fit properly.

86 Civic sedan

These are very similar to the Honda CRX consoles but they include an optional armrest storage compartment in the rear.

94+ Integra Console

These look like they would work. They are very similar to the Honda CRX and civic sedan consoles.

First Generation Civic aftermarket console: 1973-1979

These were offered as a factory option in both the first generation Civic and first generation Accord, so when searching for one make sure you check both cars. Option includes clock and switches for dome and aux light.

Stock overhead Console 73-77

These were offered as a factory option in the first generation Civic. Option includes clock and switches for dome and aux light.

N600 Console

Same style as the 73-77 less the clock and a bit shorter, use of an extra roof rib will be of great help in mounting the console.

OEM Console installation Instructions

These fit in first generation Civics' as well. They have four map lights, the original interior light, and a storage pocket that opens up to the driver.
