4x120
The standard stock wheel is 12 inch with 4x120 bolt pattern
An easy way to upgrade to larger
diameter wheels it to find a set of 13" first generation 1976-1981
Accord steel wheels, they bolt right on with the same bolt pattern as
the first generation Civic. There are two styles to choose from or if
you are really lucky you can find the aluminum alloy ones.
If you have the time and deep pockets with lots of money you can have the wheels made to your
specifications. These are a few companies you might want to check out.
Revolution ,
Diamond
Racing Wheels,
Minilite,
Compomotive in the UK or
Panasport.
Other options are to upgrade your wheel studs to the 4x100 wheel
pattern. Then your options are almost endless. Search the forum or the
brake upgrade mods for details. Wheel Offset
Wheel offset is a term used to describe the
difference between the plane of the mounting surface of the wheel and
its inner and outer rims. Wheel offset is measured in terms of
backspacing. This is the depth from the wheel's mounting flange to the outer rim edge. Find your wheels' backspacing by placing the
wheel face down; laying a straightedge across the wheel rim (not the
tire); and measuring down the mounting flange. The smaller the depth
measurement, the more outboard the wheel will be on the car.
